Where are the rest of the project importing options?

This article guides you through the process of uploading projects to your Contently portfolio, especially if you skipped the initial setup. It explains how to unlock additional importing options.


Information

You signed up for a Contently portfolio, clicked on the link in the verification email, and started setting up your account. During the portfolio setup process, there is a section that allows you to start uploading projects to your portfolio—if you happen to skip this process and return to your portfolio later to upload projects, you will get the following option:

Your only option to upload projects will be to upload a project associated with a URL, whereas during the registration process you had three more options (importing from Behance, importing from a client's website, and uploading a PDF).

To make the three other options also available to you, you can do the following:

  1. Import a URL associated project (if you don't have one, take any link from the internet and upload it)

  2. You will see all four importing options when you click on the blue plus icon now

  3. Import another project using any of the new options

  4. If you imported a random link because you didn't have a URL associated project, you can now delete it

Once you import a URL project, you'll be able to see the rest of the importing options:
